Go Go Go…. The final day liao…..

Yesterday was my last treatment for the Urban Homme, Urban Icon Challenge, But you will not see the last of my. Even if I dun win anything tonite……(I hope I win something) :0I will like to sign up a facial package to upkeep my revitalized face.

On Tue, went for my last facial treatment, it was a really long one….. I had the usual RxP,  Oxy3 and G5 treatment at one go…. took 3 hrs…. really great session. Oh I also had a Oxy3 inhalation session while applyingthe ginseng mask…. its clears my lung and energize my body. After Urban Homme, I went down to Eurocuffz, they are the sponsoring the shirt and cuff link for to nite event….

I pick a purple shirt and a nice matching cuff link….. although no price tag, I can sense that the two ps are easily my one week pay….. very generous of Eurocuffz. If one day I become the Executive Chef of a restaurant, I will 100% patronise Eurocuffz, but for now I have to give you a pass…. Wed, onto Urban Hommefor my last session… Advance Wave Frequency treatment…. this is the ultimate solution to trim and fit…. I will skip the techky part… the result is most important… just one session only, I need to belt to the last hole of my belt… thats half a inc…. super….. took a BMI reading, result shown although going through slimming treatment… I lost 2-3% of body fats while maintaining my body weight of 63kg…. all thanks to the properly plan diet plan by Urban Homme team…

Final Day…. Thank you Urban Homme for giving my this chance to be in e competition. Its really give me more confident to face my customer. The pimple and oily problem is under control… the marks  are greatly reduce…. Now I dun have to lied to people thats those marks are from oil splashes while cooking…. hahaha

30th Oct Mary Chia Road Show…… Peter, Daniel, Dennis, Me and Emeric were present at the event to give a sneak preview to the public. Except Darren who is enjoying his SUNSET in Thailand….;)

Its a really bz weekend for me, was on night shift on Thursday sleep at 5am…. wake up at 9am on friday to do marketing for the night culinary lesson at Canhil CC 7pm to 930pm…. went to the doctor at Paragon in the afternoon…… Reach home about 5pm then super heavy down pour…. How I wish I can stay in bed n sleep till Sat…. Took a cab to e CC, lesson start 730pm end 945pm after washing down… reach home… 11pm…..sleep at 12am n wake up at 230am for morning shift…….knock off at 3pm…. took e MRT standing all the way…. cos all sit r occupied by Cheena n ah na FT…  who dun event border to gv up e sit to e needy…. @#*%…

Its almost to the end of our 4 week treatment…… the result is super, people at work say I have a glow on my face …. I really wish all the marks on my face will fade by next week in time for the final on 11 Nov, St James… I want to show all the people how’s a kitchen cook can looks as good as a fashion magazine model…….. BTW we are all given a FOC make over at The Studio….

I just had my Intense pules light therapy and Oxy3 face spa…. will be perfect to have a photo shot tomorrow… hahaha…..

Today is the last day for voting… hope all my friend has voted… and at less 10% will come down St James to support….

After 3 session of facial savage, 4 session of fats elimination… I can see the show room shine surfacing….

After e 1st session of face treatment, follow by a maintenance facial….. Did a RXP treatment on Tuesday… For a very technical explanation of the RXP pls kindly refer to Mr Darren blog…. U can oso find out detail explanation of e other treatment from his blog too…. Haha…. Mr Darren has done a great job to take his time to explain on e detail…
Now back to myself…. My face is really better…. Less oily, marks r lightening, scare r getting less visible n pores r smaller… I am confident that I will return to my 25 yrs old show room shine in no time…. Hahaha…

As for the body trimming…. It’s really really effective…. My 1 pac is now a visible 4 pac without sucking in e tummy…. Super… I am really suprise with e result…. So effective…..

I am super tired now cos today did e detox dead sea body mask…. Sweat like hell…. But it’s not tat hot…. Dun gana bluff by Mr Darren…. E heat is nothing compare to a combination of 100 degree steamer, 220 degree oven n a couple of 1000 degree stove… Operating together for say 2 hrs…. Tat’s hot…..
E only things tat’s not improve a lot is my sleeping bag…. Cos dun to my work nature I sleep at odd hour… thats all for now… will have more pic n update after Sat 28th Anniversary Road show at Jurong Point… which is tomorrow…. cya…………;)

Day 3-

Abdominal Trimming and Intensive Weight Vaporiser program…… Vaporise…..

1st stop – ballerina uniform……

I am suppose to change into this outfit for a body toning and scraping session…… Its a pc of nice fabric to wear, body hugging but nice n cooling… tot it will be like wearing thermal wear in an artic winter… Then my whole body especially the tummy is being “loot”(hokkien)by too slimming equipment…. the 1st machine its function is to tone and detox the body… when the beautician run its over my “dead” body…(I was really tire, I fall asleep e moment I hit the bed….:p)its a pinching movement, if you wana know how’s its feel. Try a vacuum cleaner at low power n run it over urself…

After the toning n scraping, I was put into a gigantic blood pressure machine.. Its really looks like a blood pressure machine, its function is to tone the body. How it works… simple, the bag is pressurise to a point before I get breathless…. then its hold for 10 sec…. n  release… by doing this, it simulate the blood circulation….

Next stop the sauna, 15 min of sauna then follow by a 15 min on the (I dun really know wats tat machine name) heated shaking bed(on the bottom left of the above pic)…. function: a 15min on this bed is equal to 45 min of cardio exercise(I use to run 10km within 45min)…. its really feel like I have run many many miles after tat…. shiong… most shiong is awaiting…. the beautician wrap me up with 保鲜纸 and r advice  only unwrap after 2 hrs….

DiamondMicrodermabrasion - a non-invasive mechanical exfoliation treatment that removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells on the face. This was the first treatment I received yesterday morning at 1130am…. Result Super….

Was at The Cocoon yesterday to start my 4 weeks of intensive treatment…. Was welcome with a nice foot bath and feet relaxation… while chit-chatting with Peter

Peter is enjoying…… his nice foot rub by the beautician…….. hahaha

After the foot bath we were brieft on our customised skincare and BodySculpting Program…….

My treatment will be targeted at my facial area…. twice a week for my facial treatment and once a week abdominal trimming….

The 1st treatment consist of…

Diamond Microdermabrasion, 15% PHA treatment and Oxy Epidermal Mist Spray… The whole treatment took around 3 hr to complete… Its a very relexing session, got my face totally clean up….. (have not been doing facial for month liao) As I said the result is super… with half the face Diamond Microdermabrasioned, I can see the different in skin tone. If this is not enough… the price tag will make up for it… SGD700++….

After the session I was advice by Vince to purchase some additional skincareproduct for after care …. As he feel that the product I am using currently are in-sufficient. He explain the function of each of them but…. I am not paying attention to him, as I am really late for work already(treatment finish 240pm got to reach T3 by 3pm :p)…. have to get more info from him on my next visit….

Took a cab but was late for 30min….

Another day in the office, am in really good mood, made some really nice nice vine ripe tomato, ham and cheese sandwich

Will be posting more update after my Abdominal Trimming and Intensive Weight Vaporier treatment…. meanwhile happy eating….

I believe it’s a commons problem that all kitchen crew will face….. Super oily skin condition…. (olive oil, cooking oil, butter….etc) the norm Reading is ( actually I dun really knw)my oily reading is way beyond imagination ( i think it’s 60 on the computer reading). Luckily my skin is properly hydrated (moisture from the steamer). Am really surprise to see from the computer that I have smooth skin but have extensive meteorite crater and railway track on it….. Dark eye Circle and eye bag has been a permanent feature on my face. For the past 2 1/2 year I have been working 16 hour and sleep less then 4 hour per day…. 

Thank god all the above problem will be gone…(finger cross) after 4 week of intensive facial treatment… from the full range of skin care service provide by Urban Homme. But there is only so much the machine can do, so on my part I will really need to stick to washing my face 3-4 times per day plus using suitable gel n lotion to protect my face from the Kitchen…

Then to Beef up my body I will be given body trimming treatment… As I am only diagnose with partial water retention… I will be going to the gym and stick to a low fat, low carbo, high protein diet to gut my fats percentage and grow lean meat….

I am looking forward to start my 1st treatment this week…

Me…. can you believe I have water retention. Am a little under weight n some fat on the mid area…. got to start hitting the gym…. ha ha

As for the face, in the four week they will get rid of the black sleeping bag….(eye bag plus dark circle), railway track and e Meteor craters… WoooHoooo after e treatment I will be 年年二十五。If I were to do all this treatmentfrom my own pocket…. it will cost me am arm n a leg….

 Thank you Urban Homme for giving me this chance…… I will on my part, stick to the cleaning regiment for e face n training n diet plan for my body…. I really want to c how significant the result will be in 4 weeks…..

Being an Urban man….. one has to be like a fine dining dish. Look Good, Smell Good and Taste Good is not all…… you must be sophisticated as well, you will be accompanied by fine wine, nice dinning ambient and beautiful people…

Hi I am Benson Tong,  a Chef by practice…. I love to cook, I love to eat as well…. I watch my diet and I do Yoga 3 time a week, so I seldom have weight problem…. Working in a hot, oily and humid environment added a lot of stress to my face. I do use facial product to minimize the damage.

How do I land myself in the Urban Icon challenge. As a usual routine, was scrolling through omy.sg for news update…  Notice from the banner ad, the hunt for a Urban Icon by Urban Homme, a face and body studio for man, is currently running.

Went in, took a look and I tell myself. Why not? Had yet to know any Chef winning in Manhunt competition. it will be a super experience if I were to get into the final…………. and

Here I am, in the final 6…….. the first photo shoot and filming session will be held this Sunday…. am really excited about it……

Btw this is not the first time I had been on national TV…… If anyone do remember Buzzing Cashier….
