About Social Media Day
Social Media Day is celebrating the revolution of media, the way in which media is becoming more social and helping to connect us. You’re one of more than 500 Social Media Day events and more than 5,000 people celebrating around the world on this day.
Initiated by your very own local bloggers, together with omy.sg, we have come together to host Singapore’s FIRST Social Media Day event at *Scape on the 25th June 2011.
So the SoME! slogan is derived from the word “Social Media”. It represents the individuality in each and everyone of us, yet through the revolution of media, we are now more connected to each other than before. This Social Media Day, come and make a hundred new friends, meet them in person and simply be social. This is a day of game and fun, and at the same time, we can do a part to give back to the society. This is our idea of the most absolute Social Media Day event. It is the day we celebrate a theory that became a reality.
Remember, it’s not about us, it’s about you! “So Me!”
