1. Tell us about yourself in 50 words.
Borned in north east of peninsular Malaysia; used to work as a Psychology Lecturer. Currently accompanying my husband to persue his study in UK. A big fan of cats, loves photography and simple cooking. Believing life doesn’t have to be porsh, most importantly one should live life to the fullest!
2. How long have you been blogging and why did you start blogging?
I had my first blog posted back in May 2006. I have forgotten what made me blog in the first place. After moving to stay in UK in December 2006, blogging has become more important in my life. It serves as a channel for me to share my life experience in UK with my family and friends. From sharing life experiences, to posting recipes, photos, travelling experiences and my drawing, my blog has become a diary that records every wonderful moment of my life!
3. How do you feel as one of the finalists in the Singapore Blog Awards? What do you think is your chance of winning?
When I first got to know I was nominated as one of the finalists, I was surprisingly happy and excited! I am so lucky! I am not sure what is my chance of becoming a winner in ‘Best Lifestyle Award’ category, but I do believe everyone stands an equal chance to win! I would like to wish all the finalists good luck and all the best!
4. Who do you think are the strongest bloggers in the category you are nominated for and why?
After visiting and reading blogs from all the finalists in the same category as mine, I don’t have a name list of who is the best blogger. To me, everyone has their unique way of writing and presenting their thoughts. If I were to choose one that I like most, it will definately be ‘Story of Bing’. I see some commons in us: we stay abroad because of our husband, we like photography and we share recipes.
5. What would you like to say to your blog readers and those who voted and supported you?
To all my blog readers: Many thanks for reading and supporting my blog for years! You are the motivation that drives me continue on blogging!
To all voters: Many thanks for voting me! Although it’s just a simple click, it means a lot to me! Thank you for your magic click!
6. What is your most controversial blog post and why?
I will say ‘第二个Earth Hour’ (http://trishalavittae.blogspot.com/2010/03/earth-hour.html) is most controversial. It’s just a personal opinion and another perspective about Earth Hour Campaign. The article is a bit teasing, yet hoping people will understand the campaign is not merely a fashion or a trend.
7. Have you ever gotten into trouble or got rewarded for blogging? Elaborate.
Well… so far being nominated as one of the finalist in ‘SG Blog Award’ is the best reward I have ever had!
