I messed up the elements and had to buzz Jimmy (from ThirtySix) to help check which was the 2nd and 3rd lenses in the p (Read more...)

The Last Camera from Superheadz is the latest DIY camera that got some of us all excited and curious about. Picked up a set from ThirtySix yesterday and after Fitzand went to bed … me and my old eyes started work on trying to assemble the many little parts in the package. Due to the many tiny (Read more...)

DIY - Single Use Packs, made using straws and a lighter. Great for traveling! This would work for all kinds of other things too - toothpaste, etc. BRILLIANT!

Looks like static to us. But do you know that you are responsible in making this 'artwork'. On close inspection...

While I was still waiting for a good offer to buy my liver so that I could afford the 2 metal editions of the La Sardina, I thought I might have to let go my lungs too when I saw that there are 4 new special editions of the camera. Thank God these 4 designs don’t seem to tempt me much (if at a (Read more...)

It has been a while since I’ve added any new ‘girls’ to my family of Diana F+ clones … and recently three of them were ‘born’. The yellow ‘Buttercup’ and the blue ‘True Blue’ are the latest ones from Lomography and were available at ThirtyS (Read more...)

This video doing the rounds of social network these days shows an inspiring story of how a man brought light to his neighbourhood in Phillipines using empty plastic bottles, water, bleach and innovation.
Didn’t you just love it.

Some friends asked me about which Lomo/toy camera should they go for if they wanna shoot wide. In the past, I’d tell them to either get the LC-A+ with the wide angle lens attachment or the (way cheaper but needs lots more light and careful usage) Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim (UWS) (also rebra (Read more...)
