The Sichuan earthquake had trembled not just the lands but the hearts of people all over the world. We may not be able to soothe their feelings of having lost family and friends dear to them, but we can and will help them to find the strength to move on and continue to live a fulfilling future ahead. Each of us should help in any way we can, be it in the form of donations or going down to Sichuan to lend a hand in rebuilding the state. Hence, Jun Jie Fan Club, Singapore (JJFC) has planned and organised this 10-day auction to raise more donations for the Sichuan earthquake relief fund.

The item up for bid is an A3 sized pencil portrait done by Kok Shi Chun, aged 19, a member of JJFC (SG), and personally signed by JJ Lin Jun Jie. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Will the real piece of work be watermarked?
No, we watermarked the drawing so that no one can print off the website.
2. There seems to be some weird light and dark patches from the image. Are they supposed to be there?
No, the light and dark patches are caused by reflections of light on the pencil carbon. We deliberately did not use a good scan of the original drawing to avoid anyone trying to print the image off the website.
3. In what currency is the current bid in?
It is shown in China RMB. Singapore $1 is approximately around 5RMB.
