Singapore Welcome ZY!

Author: david, 09 23rd, 2009

I haven’t written on my blog for quite some time. I’ve been busy working on a job for the National Geographics with Ziyi in Borneo, Indonesia. I really like the fast pace beat of my schedule lately, although it’s tiring it feels exhilarating.

Ziyi was in Singapore for 3 days after the shoot in Borneo. She spent most of her time here shopping and trying out all the famous hawker stalls like Sin Hoi San at Tiong Bahru. She loves the food here but what she really loves most is the privacy. Singapore is doing a great job with preventing the media from being too aggressive towards the local and foreign celebrities. Keep up the good work! =) I hope more beautiful and talented celebrities would migrate to Singapore to liven up the entertainment industry.

I’ve been looking around at properties as I genuinely hope that she’ll reside in Singapore since she really loves it here. Strangely, I hope and wish that she’d marry a Singaporean so she’d be able to live here. But that’s just my wish and not what Ziyi wants. I haven’t even mention that to her but it would be ridiculous if it were to really happen cos my dear Ziyi’s heart is already taken :)

I was suppose to go on a trip to Milan with Ziyi for the Milan Fashion Week but i couldn’t make it cos my princess is getting married!  I can’t wait till she start making babies =) I’ll  be heading to Hong Kong right after the wedding to work with Leon Lai’s girlfriend, Gaile Lok. When i get back, renovation for my salons expansion would have started already. I’ll be leaving again to Tokyo and Seoul for Yuan Yuan and back to Singapore for a Omega shoot with Ziyi. Then off to Tokyo again with Ziyi for another job. I love my busy schedule! I hope in 2010 when the expansion is ready, i would still have the time and energy to travel the way i’m travelling now.

I believe that everyone should believe in karma. Don’t think or do bad towards others and good things will always come your way. Take for example, when i introduced Fann to Yuan Yuan , she being the hospitable person she is invited her to her wedding. Yuan Yuan was so excited and honoured that she is giving an antique diamond necklace worth 6 figures as a wedding gift. Another customer of mine is planning to buy a gift for the lovely couple but didn’t know what to get so i recommended a pair of Corum Pink Gold watch worth $80,000!  Such a lucky couple! Another example of good karma, when you’re thoughtful and generous like these people, good things always come your way.  Learn to be kind and you’ll receive kindness in return. No one should care about gossips, as long as you do everything with your heart, there’s nothing anyone can say about you that you would be ashamed of.

I’m really looking forward to the next issue of I-weekly and 8 days. i flew my team up and got Four Seasons to sponsor the accommodation and here I would really like to thank Four Seasons for accomoddating us for this trip on such short notice. Special thanks to the entire crew that worked on the Maldives shoot especially Agnes the makeup artist. I brought her into this industry but i rarely talk about about her in my blog so i would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work and for being a good friend.

I really do want to post and show you guys the images that we shot there. The clothes were amazing! From Vera Wang to Zegna to Bally, all the international brands. I can’t wait to see the finished ball room during the wedding. I would like to give my best to the beautiful couple. Got to go back to work now. Will keep you guys updated!

This T-shirt is specially designed for the shoot. It states all the places that we were supposed to go to but eventually landed ourselves on Borneo.
