除了World Vision世界宣明会之外，另一个我参与的国际组织是Habitat for Humanity仁人之家。他们的共同之处是：非本地团体，所以无法公开筹募。本地条规是超过70-80% (can someone check on this? I’ll go find out… but yah, it’s a high ratio and a tall demand for international organizations operating in Singapore) 的募款必须留在新加坡。因此，WV和HfH在新加坡都面对一定的阻力。
帮助本地团体天经地义，帮助离你更远的地方和人们，更具意义。

Giving and sharing is not just a Christmas disease, it ought to be a year-long habit. Ha, my inspiration for 25 December 2007.
Habitat for Humanity 为有需要的人建筑房屋，因为那是任何人的基本需求之一。Basic needs are food AND shelter.
这个年底，仁人之家连同一位本地有为青年Peter Draw卓英伟（名字真好！卓越、英勇、伟大……）为筹款进行有趣的活动。
“Peter Draw is the World’s Happiest Cartoonist” said children who have met personally with Peter. He will be drawing caricatures non-stop for 24 hours to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Singapore to help build homes for needy families.
Peter believes that drawing is more than putting strokes to paper, it can bring hope and happiness to children. He hopes to inspire children to realise their dreams through his caricatures with the theme ‘Because every dream starts from having a simple and decent home’.
Venue : McDonalds, East Coast Park
Date and time : 29 Dec 07 (7pm) to 30 Dec 07 (7pm)
Drop by at McDonald’s and support Peter. Do tell your family and friends about this and have all your faces drawn for a very meaningful cause!

24小时，我敬佩这样的毅力。总比亲吻或触摸车子72小时有意义得多。
今天外婆生日，公司开会一整天，无法去支持了。明天，会设法抽空去的。
