Lifeless Drowned Body Wakes Up – When a Corpse is not a Corpse!

By , September 12, 2012 12:26 am

A man’s lifeless body was found floating in a river in the United States.

A forensic team was called in to investigate the drowning, and the Lycoming County Coroner, Charles E. Kiessling Jr. attended in person at the morbid scene.

The lifeless body floating in the river

The lifeless body floating in the river

Authorities spent some time deciding on the best way to retrieve the body, when the unthinkable happened – The “dead” body sat up!!

Check out the video below!!

As was later learned, Joseph DeAngelo was not actually dead or even close to drowning – he had simply fallen asleep while watching the clouds… And he had absolutely no idea of the furore going on around him. The strange thing is that none of the professional forensic team went and checked on him upon their arrival – he was snoozing very close to the shore line.

According to Kiessling Jr., “Let me tell you, it was quite a shock for us… He was bobbing up and down in the water and he really looked like he was dead”

Williamsport Police Captain Michael Orwig, exclaimed “It’s a miracle!”

DeAngelo himself said that he had no idea what was going around him until a dragonfly landed on his nose… he simply woke from his slumber and sat up. He apologised for any confusion he might have created, and said he was “living life the best way I know how”.

Proof Of An Idiot! Check Out My Forehead Tattoo! Radio Sponsors?

By , May 2, 2012 2:15 am

I ask you, dear readers – what on this earth motivates someone to get ink permanently etched in to their forehead? For the life of me, it’s one of those strange phenomena that I just can’t seem to comprehend.

Thinking more seriously about it, I contemplated what I might look like with a forehead tattoo. Even more thought provoking, is what wise words would I decide upon. The following is the result of my deep reflection on the subject:

OK, so maybe you don’t want to ever get a real job again… or maybe you want the world to see you and identify you as the criminal that you probably are… but I just wonder how you feel each morning you wake up and look in the mirror – is there any regret? Have you ever wondered to yourself, “Yes, I’m an Idiot!” or “Gee – that was pretty stupid of me!”?

Well, the old forehead tattoo seems to be getting quite popular with inmates of various prisons around the USA.

The latest addition to this very scholarly group of creative geniuses, is one 33-year old woman from Ohio… at least Jamie Calloway, who has been arrested for “misdemeanor menacing by stalking” seems to have a religious message for her fellow prisoners (she allegedly slashed her victim’s tyres, constantly called the victim’s phone and sent her packages in the mail – her victim is a corrections officer that Calloway took a liking to during a previous stint in the lock-up).

Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, the angelic Jamie Calloway:

Joining Ms Calloway in the “Idiot Forehead Tattoos” Hall of Fame are the following very friendly looking folks…

First up, is 21-year old Californian, Patrick Brooks – in jail for burglary, forgery and receiving stolen property (oh, and parole violation) – really nice guy right? I’m sure they will love his attitude tattoo inside (I’ve censored here to protest the innocent) 🙂

Next up… like father like son – I bet he grew up saying “I wanna be just like my Dad one day!!” Well, you achieved your goal, young fella!

This one’s kind of surprising, because I don’t reckon he looks much like the criminal type. In the first mug shot on the left, Robert Norton Kennedy from South Carolina just had the quote from Matthew 19:26 (“With God All Things Are Possible”) – he had been arrested for assault and battery. The next time the 51-year old was arrested (for larceny), he had expanded his work of art with musical notes and references to passages from Psalms and Romans:

The next Hall-of-Famer, is 48-year old, David Jonathan Winkelman. His crime was just a misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. The larger crime was that many years ago, he accepted a challenge from a radio disc jockey who offered listeners a six-figure payout if they tattooed the station’s call letters and logo on their forehead. He now proudly and permanently promotes “93 Rock,” the “Quad City Rocker”.

Hmmm – I wonder how much Gold 90FM in Singapore would pay me to do the same for them? I’m a huge fan – come on my friends, father and son team, the Richmonds (Gold Breakfast) or Tim or Maggie (Drive Home) – why not make me an offer??

I’ve got nothing to add to the Alabama man’s message to the world below:

Finally – this guy must be a real genius indeed!! Not to mention very cowardly!! 27-year old Jerome Smith was arrested for striking an 8-month pregnant woman in the head with a gun. He’ll get everything he deserves – final proof that criminality and idiocy to in fact go hand in hand…

Good ‘Ol Boy Crashes Kids Birthday Party With A Gun – Because Not Enough Cake and Ice-Cream!

By , June 13, 2011 1:49 am

Y’all didn’t save my kids no damn ice cream and cake.

Now I’m definitely not going to state my opinion on the gun laws in the US! I’ve already been beat up online enough for that in the past… ‘right to bear arms’ and all that – from the US Constitution – which is interpreted in many different ways.

What I do want to highlight though, is an incident that occurred at a childrens’ birthday party in a southern part of the United States on Saturday night… Clementine, in South Memphis to be precise.

Birthday Gun

When a father found out this his kids didn’t receive any birthday cake and ice-cream at the party, what the good ol’ boy did would have made his righteous shooting buddies proud.

According to police, Joseph Hayes was angry that his children didn’t get any treats, so he went home, retrieved his firearm and returned to threaten the host.

Mr Hayes became extremely upset and, with the gun in his possession, began yelling at the victim, “Y’all didn’t save my kids no damn ice cream and cake.”

He faced court in Memphis, Tennessee today, after being arrested and charged with aggravated assault, and was held on a $30,000 bond.

Somehow I don’t think that his kids will get all that many birthday party invitations in the future!

Only In America – Buy A Truck, Get A Free AK-47 Assault Rifle! (Brainless)

By , November 18, 2010 2:12 am

Living in Singapore, we get to see our share of (sometimes very strange) sales promotions… in fact, here gift vouchers of all varieties are the rage, with people prepared to queue for hours to get their hands on the freebies!!

But only in America, where the crazy liberal gun-laws are already the reason behind some of the largest ‘murder by firearms’ statistics on the planet (under the cloak of ‘the 2nd Amendment), would you see a truck dealership offering up a free AK-47 with every purchase of one of their vehicles.

The slogan on their website, “Buy a truck, get a free AK-47”, is obviously targeted at a particular clientele, but it doesn’t make it any the less scary.

According to management - we are merely allowing customers to assert their rights under the Second Amendment of the Constitution

According to management - we are merely allowing customers to assert their rights under the Second Amendment of the Constitution

By all reports in the US media, although this is not the first time such a crazy idea has been floated, this unusual promotion launched by ‘Nations Trucks’ in Florida (an auto dealership in the US) and set to run until the end of November, is to help the company through the tough and slow US economic recovery.

And guess what?? It’s working – the dealership has sold more than double it’s usual number of trucks since the promotion was announced just last week!!

The complimentary Soviet-style AK-47 assault rifle is, by all accounts, the highest-selling assault rifle of all time.

Nations Trucks are defending the campaign to some degree, by announcing that instead of handing out the guns to customers directly, the proud truck buyers are given a $ 400 voucher which can then be redeemed for the AK-47 rifle at a firearms shop located nearby the dealership.

2nd-amendmentAccording to the company’s sales manager, Nick Ginetta, “I don’t think it sends the wrong message… we’re merely allowing customers to assert their rights under the Second Amendment of the Constitution… You don’t need to buy a truck to go and buy an AK-47. You have the right to do that as long as you meet all state and federal laws. So it’s just a promotion…”

Well “no sh*t, Sherlock”!! – I wonder if Mr Ginetta will be around to console the families of one of the kids who end up getting shot and killed as a result of one of the most brainless ideas in marketing history??

English Essays and Maths Papers – Outsourced For Just $2

By , November 14, 2010 2:16 am

Students Outsourcing Homework to Foreign Sweatshops?

reverseebayIn the procurement business world, electronic ‘Reverse Auctions’ are very common – quite simply, if you want to buy something, you can auction the requirement online and then award the business to the lowest bidder (sort of like eBay in reverse).

Unfortunately, with the technology available today, there are online businesses using this concept and allowing high school and university students to go out to bid for their assessment requirements.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, some Australian students are doing just this, and have “outsourced their homework to sweatshops in India, Pakistan and Egypt which provide English essays and maths papers for as little as $2”.

This is just one of the many websites that have cropped up recently, offering cheaters dirt cheap essays.

This is just one of the many websites that have cropped up recently, offering cheaters dirt cheap essays.

Interestingly enough, the schools are almost powerless to curb this activity by the cheaters, because the plagiarism software they use cannot detect any wrong doing – all the papers are custom-made.

There are even brokers available to assist in the tender and bidding process – these include websites like, and dissertation Most of the workers engaged, are graduates from India and Pakistan.

integrityThe founder of (a website that connects small businesses with cheap labour in developing economies), Matt Barrie, is aware that homework and assignments often get submitted to his site. His response to this is, “We get them all the time… As a lecturer myself, I really don’t approve, but kids will be kids – they will always find a way to cheat… There are students in India who will give answers for just a few dollars and I have seen maths questions answered for $2 a go”.

One graduate, 23-year old Mohammed Ali Khan from Islamabad, Pakistan admits to writing essays and papers for predominately university students at just $2 per 100 words. He does work on behalf of people in countries such as Australia, the US and the UK (among others). He can offer a 1000-word Year 12 English language essay at the going rate of just $US10.

In response to this growing trend, Craig Ellis, who is the Associate Dean of the University of Western Sydney said that “…in the past five years there’s been an explosion in sites where you can download pre-written assignments, but we have the mechanisms that allow us to cross-reference essays to identify this. But the trend towards custom-produced work at such low costs is particularly worrying because it is that much harder to spot”. are apparently able to provide PhD-standard work with a 24-hour deadline at a cost of $54 per page.

My goodness – What is this world coming to… Where is the integrity?
